Περιγραφή
Solid aluminium mount for AMB or Kress routers with a Ø43 mm neck. The router drops into the bore and one screw clamps it — simple, rigid, and it will not mark the motor housing.
Where it goes
On the Z axis of a CNC router. The back face is flat with two holes, so it bolts straight onto a Z plate or an aluminium extrusion. Fits AMB 1050 FME and the older Kress units of the same diameter.
Why aluminium and not plastic
Aluminium holds the spindle still against the side loads of a cut and pulls heat out of the motor. A plastic mount flexes only a little — but enough to show up in the part.
