Tool fork for NBT30 and BT30 holders. This is the part that keeps the toolholder seated in the magazine of a machining centre with an automatic tool changer. The taper clips into the V, the metal spring retains it, and the spindle pulls it out when the program calls for it.
Where it goes
In a carousel or linear magazine, one fork per tool station. It bolts on with two screws and is shimmed so the taper sits at spindle height.
