Ø80 mm aluminium spindle mount for 1.5 and 2.2 kW water cooled spindles. Two clamping screws, flat back for the Z axis.
Περιγραφή
Spindle mount machined from solid aluminium for a Ø80 mm spindle body. That is the size of the common 1.5 kW and 2.2 kW water cooled spindles, and of many air cooled ones.
How it holds
Two clamping screws close the slot and grip the motor all the way around, not at one point. The spindle cannot twist under the side loads of a cut, and the housing is left unmarked.
Fitting
The back is flat with holes for bolting to a Z plate or aluminium extrusion. Before you tighten, check the spindle is square to the table in both axes — a mount tightened out of square locks that error in for good.
